Senior Fullstack Developer, Originations (Fintech)

Location: Remote in Brazil; candidates must be available across UTC-3 to UTC-8 time zones.

Salary: USD $80,000–$95,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

What you will do

• Architect, design, discuss, and implement systems across multi-step lending applications, backend risk assessments, payment processing, public APIs, and event-based integrations.
• Develop clean, maintainable backend services and frontend components using Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
• Improve test coverage and ensure features are tested end to end.
• Grow and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and architectural discussions while proactively identifying blockers.
• Own incident response and debugging for individual code and shared services, and contribute to post-mortem reviews.

Requirements

• Availability across UTC-3 to UTC-8 time zones.
• Fluency in English is required.
• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong backend development skills in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and frontend applications with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Practical knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Firestore, or Redis.
• Experience with domain-based monorepos, Agile/Scrum processes, and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, CI/CD, Kubernetes, or Docker.
• Experience with PHP or Golang, risk modeling and underwriting, or payment processing solutions.
• Experience with ML models or QA tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
