Collaborating Physician - Georgia (Remote)

Location: Remote, but the physician must reside in Georgia and have a principal practice location physically based in Georgia.

Salary: $200/hour for 10 hours per week; structured as a 1099 independent contractor fee.

What you will do

• Serve as the collaborating physician of record under written nurse protocol agreements filed with the Georgia Medical Board.
• Co-sign nurse practitioner clinical notes and charts according to the protocol schedule.
• Provide clinical consultation and participate in regular collaboration meetings with nurse practitioners.
• Conduct required periodic chart and medical record reviews.
• Support general oncology triage and palliative care oversight without direct patient care, an independent patient panel, or hands-on clinical services.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license as an MD or DO.
• Residence and principal practice location physically based in Georgia.
• Comfort with a remote and asynchronous consultation model.
• Prior experience with nurse practitioner or APRN collaborative or supervisory relationships is preferred.
• Availability for scheduled clinical-question windows, periodic collaboration meetings, and regular chart reviews.
