Salary: $83,000–$138,000 annual target base pay for California and the New York metro area; annual performance bonus and benefits may also apply.

What you will do

• Develop, improve, and commercialize tablets, capsules, softgels, gummies, and other dosage forms.
• Oversee and monitor bench-top, pilot, manufacturing scale-up, and verification batches.
• Use experimentation and data to troubleshoot formulation and manufacturing challenges.
• Lead product and process development, technology transfers, and commercialization activities.
• Partner with sourcing, analytical services, quality, and technical operations teams.
• Update batch records, raw material specifications, standard operating procedures, and technical reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Food Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 0–1+ years with a master’s degree.
• Practical knowledge of supplement, pharmaceutical, or functional-food product development, processing equipment, techniques, and regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on formulation and scale-up experience with confectionery products, especially gummies and jellies.
• Ability to design and execute experimental or protocol studies, statistically analyze data, and author and review protocols and reports.
• U.S. work authorization is required; immigration sponsorship or support, including Form I-983 STEM OPT support, is not available.
