Senior Data Analyst (Experimentation & A/B Testing)

What you will do

• Investigate user funnel, traffic engagement, reward consistency, and product performance across a 100TB data lake.
• Design, analyze, and monitor A/B and A/B/n experiments, including sample-size calculations and variance reduction.
• Build automated experiment reporting dashboards, reusable analytical frameworks, alerting systems, and data visibility solutions.
• Develop complex SQL and Python analyses and optimize large-scale queries through Trino.
• Work with telemetry, feature flagging, event tracking, and experimentation data flows.
• Translate statistical findings into actionable recommendations for product managers, engineers, growth leads, and executives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• Fluent SQL and Python skills, including complex queries, big-data optimization, and analytical pipelines.
• Deep experience designing experiments, calculating sample sizes, applying variance reduction, and analyzing A/B/n tests.
• Strong knowledge of hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, p-values, power analysis, and Bayesian and Frequentist approaches.
• Experience with anomaly detection, distribution analysis, and cross-population comparison.
• Understanding of end-to-end experimentation telemetry, feature flagging systems, event tracking pipelines, and architecture tradeoffs.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt, Airflow, or experimentation platforms such as Optimizely and GrowthBook.
