Quality Automation Engineer (SAP)

Location: Bulgaria; hybrid work with travel to Sofia at least once every two weeks

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across web and API layers.
• Identify, document, track, reproduce, and troubleshoot software defects with developers and product managers.
• Ensure test coverage for new features and enhancements before release.
• Improve QA methodologies, automation frameworks, and testing processes.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release readiness reviews while promoting quality throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience, preferably with TypeScript and Python.
• Practical experience with automated testing environments, test documentation, test case design, test planning, and error analysis.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools including Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of large-scale data center, cloud, and network environments, including their architecture and operational requirements.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline.
• Bulgarian proficiency, English at B2+, and the ability to travel to Sofia at least once every two weeks are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP BTP or other SAP products.
