Quality Automation Engineer (SAP)

Location: Bulgaria; hybrid work mode with the ability to travel to Sofia at least once every two weeks

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across web and API layers.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to reproduce, isolate, and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure test coverage for new features and enhancements before release.
• Improve QA methodologies, automation frameworks, and SDLC quality practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience, preferably with TypeScript and Python.
• Practical experience with automated testing environments, test documentation, test case design, test planning, error analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with Bruno and Supertest is preferred; familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes is required.
• Understanding of large-scale data center, cloud, and network environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline.
• Bulgarian language proficiency and English at B2+ level are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP BTP or other SAP products.
