QA Engineer (Junior)

Location: Ha Noi, Vietnam; hybrid schedule with remote work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

What you will do

• Work with the QA team to maintain appropriate test coverage throughout product development.
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and QA documentation based on product requirements.
• Prepare basic testing tools and test data.
• Identify, report, and verify defects using Jira and established defect management processes.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and risks, and collaborate with team members to resolve issues.
• Support QA process improvements and assist with advanced tasks when required.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of QA experience testing game, mobile, or web products.
• Experience with grey-box, black-box, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Basic understanding of software testing principles, QA processes, test case management, and defect reporting.
• Basic knowledge of API testing and familiarity with Jira or similar bug-tracking tools.
• Good written and spoken English is required.
• Strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, adaptability, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ISTQB principles or an ISTQB certification.
