Principal QA Engineer (Mobile)

What you will do

• Ensure quality throughout the full software development lifecycle and support successful product implementation for customers.
• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated tests across integration, system, functional, exploratory, regression, smoke, and sanity levels.
• Create and maintain test plans, test strategies, test suites, defect metrics, and release reporting.
• Build and maintain mobile automation frameworks and end-to-end tests for Android and iOS applications.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, bug triage, product demos, QA Guild activities, code reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor peers, support QA hiring and enablement, evaluate tools, and collaborate directly with clients.

Requirements

• English: strong spoken and written communication skills required.
• Good programming skills in Java and experience with exploratory testing.
• Experience testing across macOS and Windows, with strong functional knowledge of Android and iOS.
• Experience creating and using Appium automation frameworks and configuring Appium servers for mobile device testing.
• Experience developing automated UI tests with XCUITest, Espresso, Selenium, or Appium, plus API testing with Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
• Experience with continuous integration, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, version control systems, cloud testing platforms, accessibility, localization, cross-browser and cross-platform testing, and defect management tools such as Jira.
