Sr Software Development Engineer - Da Nang (Paradox)

Location: Da Nang, Vietnam; hybrid work with at least 50% of each quarter spent in the office or in the field

What you will do

• Design and deliver scalable technical solutions aligned with product and business needs.
• Lead features and technical initiatives from design and planning through implementation, deployment, and support.
• Design robust APIs, data models, background services, and modern user-facing web interfaces.
• Improve system performance, reliability, maintainability, engineering practices, and technical architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to clarify requirements, assess risks, and make technical trade-offs.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development engineering experience.
• Solid proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
• Advanced knowledge of object-oriented design, software architecture patterns, databases, data modeling, performance tuning, and system scalability.
• Experience with RESTful API design, scalable service development, and secure, reliable back-end systems.
• Advanced proficiency with modern AI tools for engineering productivity, code quality, problem-solving, and technical decision-making.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in Vietnamese and English are required.

Nice to have

• Strong hands-on experience with Python.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
