TL;DR
Platform Fullstack Software Engineer (AWS): Define, build, and maintain a scalable services platform with an accent on high-performance REST and GraphQL APIs, distributed event-driven architectures, and AWS infrastructure. Focus on designing high-transactionality microservices, implementing asynchronous messaging and CI/CD, and improving observability, security, and production resilience.
Location: Remote from Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Ecuador, Uruguay, or Chile

What you will do
- Define, design, and maintain a scalable, resilient, and high-performance services platform.
- Develop and expose REST and GraphQL APIs for critical applications and asynchronous messaging systems.
- Design distributed, event-driven, and decoupled architectures using Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design principles.
- Build automation and monitoring tools, including infrastructure as code, dashboards, and alerting.
- Implement security, versioning, testing, and continuous deployment best practices.
- Optimize AWS infrastructure and collaborate with development, product, and operations teams on production delivery.
Requirements
- Backend development experience with Golang, Python, and Java.
- At least 3 years of frontend development experience with Next.js, React, or Vue.js.
- Experience designing and maintaining highly transactional, highly available systems handling millions of transactions per month.
- Strong experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous messaging with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or MKS.
- Advanced knowledge of AWS services including API Gateway, ALB/NLB, ECS, SQS, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, SQL and NoSQL databases, API security with OAuth 2.0 and JWT, testing, and observability tools.
Nice to have
- AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, SonarQube, or code coverage analysis.
- Knowledge of AWS Lambda, API Management, gRPC, or WebSockets.
