Staff Utilization Management Clinical Pharmacist (VSP/PT)

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $104,000–$143,000 per year full-time equivalent base pay estimate.

What you will do

• Complete medical necessity and comprehensive medication reviews for prescriptions requiring prior authorization.
• Analyze medication care plans and overall medication utilization.
• Identify unusual medication usage patterns and determine appropriate courses of action.
• Intervene with and advise patients and providers to promote cost-effective utilization and quality outcomes.
• Make independent decisions in varied and occasionally ambiguous situations while following established guidelines and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Less than five years of technical experience is typically required.
• Ability to work remotely from a dedicated space that protects member PHI and HIPAA information.
• Home internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
