Senior Software Engineer (.NET Core) (Remote) (Fullstack)

Location: Remote within the United States; listed location is Carmel, Indiana

Annual salary: $115,123–$184,197 USD, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors.

What you will do

• Redesign and rewrite existing technology solutions using multiple technology stacks.
• Build, enhance, and maintain scalable, cloud-native core system components.
• Lead technical discussions on software architecture, testing, quality, and performance.
• Develop backend applications and integrate frontend JavaScript frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.
• Own and maintain repositories and applications, including code reviews and technical mentoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building scalable, cloud-native backend applications with .NET, .NET Core, and C#.
• Experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks such as React.
• Experience with telemetry and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of database design, scalable software architecture, networking fundamentals, design patterns, profiling, troubleshooting, and testing methodologies.
• University degree or advanced diploma in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
• Must be based in the United States for this remote role.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Microsoft ADO environment, code building, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience developing applications with Java and its development stack.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, and Amazon Web Services.
