Web Application Developer Intern (React/Python)

Location: Sibiu, Romania. The position includes a work-from-home policy and flexible working hours.

What you will do

• Implement and maintain full-stack features using React, Django with Python, and PostgreSQL.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate internal authentication, reporting, messaging, and data services.
• Develop responsive and accessible UI components based on PSO/PMO workflows.
• Write unit and integration tests, contribute to code reviews, and maintain CI pipelines.
• Design schemas, optimize PostgreSQL queries, and support data validation and migrations.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and DevOps/IT partners on portfolio dashboards and planning tools.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Coursework or project experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and React.
• Good Python knowledge and familiarity with HTTP and REST; willingness to learn Django.
• Fundamental SQL knowledge, including joins, filtering, and basic aggregations.
• Comfortable using Git and collaborating through pull requests.
• Clear communication in English is required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Django REST Framework, Jest, React Testing Library, or PyTest.
• Basic Docker or CI system experience.
• Familiarity with charts, visualization, or Python pandas for dashboards.
