TL;DR
Senior Platform Engineer (Azure/Kubernetes): Building and operating an internal cloud platform for software engineering, data engineering, and AI teams with an accent on Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and DevSecOps. Focus on designing self-service developer capabilities, improving cloud security and observability, and leading reliability and incident-management work across an enterprise-scale platform.
Location: Remote within Germany; normal business hours.

What you will do
- Design, implement, and own cloud platform services and capabilities throughout their lifecycle.
- Build self-service developer solutions, automation, and tooling that improve engineering productivity.
- Automate infrastructure with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and manage Kubernetes/AKS environments.
- Implement DevSecOps practices, cloud security, IAM, RBAC, secrets management, and governance standards.
- Improve monitoring, observability, reliability, and performance; lead troubleshooting and incident management while mentoring engineers and contributing to architecture decisions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service, and Terraform.
- Strong background in CI/CD, DevSecOps, cloud security, IAM, RBAC, secrets management, and governance.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, reliability, automation, and scripting using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go.
- Experience in Agile, product-oriented engineering organizations, with strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Must work remotely from Germany during normal business hours.
Nice to have
- Experience with Backstage, Internal Developer Portals, and self-service developer platforms.
- Enterprise-scale Terraform and large Kubernetes environment experience.
- Hands-on experience with AKS, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
- Experience with cloud governance and enterprise DevSecOps.
