Iran-Focused Intelligence Analyst (Crypto)

Location: Remote; Israel or the United Kingdom, including London and Tel Aviv offices

What you will do

• Own end-to-end attribution of Iranian exchanges, OTC and no-KYC networks, IRGC and proxy financing, sanctions-evasion infrastructure, cyber operations, and commodity- or procurement-for-crypto flows.
• Lead rapid on-chain attribution following OFAC and allied sanctions designations.
• Trace how Iranian actors raise, move, launder, and cash out value through exchanges, mixers, mining operations, swaps, and off-ramps.
• Produce advisory notes, customer and partner briefings, and contributions to flagship intelligence publications.
• Represent hirify.global publicly on Iran-related crypto threats and brief public- and private-sector partners.
• Translate threat typologies into product and customer detection guidance while designing AI-assisted automation.

Requirements

• Deep, demonstrable expertise in Iran, the IRGC and IRGC-Qods Force, proxy networks, sanctions evasion, illicit finance, or procurement systems.
• Experience tracing Iranian crypto activity on-chain, or strong Iran threat-finance expertise combined with proven blockchain-tracing skills.
• Background in intelligence, sanctions, counter-threat finance, investigations, law enforcement, military, research, or private-sector CTF and sanctions work.
• Strong understanding of Iranian geopolitics, proxy networks, and regional financial flows.
• Excellent writing, communication, judgment, and ability to lead complex problems end to end.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience for a Senior hire; Staff hires require at least 8 years and recognized domain authority.

Nice to have

• Farsi or Arabic language ability.
• Direct experience with OFAC sanctions, terror-finance designations, or designation processes.
• Published research or public speaking on Iran, sanctions evasion, or crypto threat finance.
• Knowledge of Iranian exchange infrastructure, crypto mining as a sanctions-evasion vector, or dual-use procurement networks.
