What you will do

• Run scheduled and on-demand vulnerability scans across servers, networks, applications, cloud environments, and on-premises systems.
• Configure, maintain, and tune vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Rapid7, and Defender VM.
• Analyze scan results, validate false positives, assess risk, and prioritize vulnerabilities by severity, exploitability, and business impact.
• Coordinate with system owners, IT teams, and engineers on patching, configuration changes, and other remediation activities.
• Automate security workflows, data aggregation, and scanning processes.
• Research emerging threats, improve security controls, and prepare vulnerability, remediation, and compliance reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in vulnerability management.
• In-depth knowledge of common security vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, Nessus, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and software development processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, or GIAC GWAPT.
