Software Security Architect (C/C++)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; onsite position

Salary: $136,500–$253,500 annual, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

hirify.global’s Information Security team develops and leads secure software practices across the organization’s development environment.

What you will do

• Architect and lead the secure software development lifecycle.
• Integrate security practices and solutions into development workflows, builds, and artifact repositories.
• Build and perform software composition analysis in CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and manage hirify.global artifact repositories using JFrog or Sonatype.
• Integrate security controls with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, and related DevOps tools.
• Prioritize and drive remediation of software vulnerabilities while collaborating with development and engineering teams.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience, or equivalent professional background.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Software development experience in C/C++, Python, and Tcl.
• Experience with GitHub, Perforce, Sonatype, JFrog, Black Duck, Fortify, or SonarQube.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work onsite in San Jose, California.
