TL;DR
Senior Power BI Developer (Power BI/SQL/DAX): Developing interactive business intelligence reports, dashboards, datasets, and advanced analytics models for marketing and financial data with an accent on data modeling, automation, and performance tuning. Focus on solving complex business logic, integrating Azure data sources, designing scalable schemas, and guiding junior developers.
Location: Fully remote within the United States, or from 's corporate offices in Newport News, Virginia, according to company policy.
Salary: $6,000.30–$13,016.30 per month; bonus or incentive plan eligible.

What you will do
- Gather business problems and reporting requirements from partners across the organization.
- Develop, publish, and schedule interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, scorecards, and paginated reports.
- Define data structures, locate data sources, automate data preparation, and collaborate with Data Engineering on advanced ETL.
- Integrate Azure data warehouse tables and build analytics models using Power BI, SSAS, AAS, and data flows.
- Use SQL and DAX to implement complex business logic, diagnose issues, and optimize report and dashboard performance.
- Provide technical guidance to junior and associate developers and support business users with data models and requirements.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, indicators, and scorecards.
- Expert understanding of DAX and SQL.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and strong experience with SSRS or Paginated Reports.
- Ability to interpret data for business decisions, gather requirements, and design and prototype reporting solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, business administration, finance, statistics, computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong organization, communication, attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- Python experience.
- Interest in learning new technologies and incorporating AI into analytics workflows.
