Risk and Compliance Manager (Fintech)

Location: Remote

Base salary: $105,000–$130,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Prepare for audits, maintain readiness, and respond to audit requests.
• Support partner-bank regulatory examinations and due diligence requests.
• Draft policies and procedures and build a centralized compliance governance framework.
• Evaluate internal controls, recommend enhancements, and provide effective challenge.
• Manage enterprise training content and completion tracking.
• Monitor regulatory developments and prepare Board-level reporting on KRIs, KPIs, and other metrics.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in risk and compliance within a high-growth environment.
• Experience drafting and maintaining policy and procedure libraries.
• Experience with regulatory examinations, audits, gap analyses, and enterprise risk assessments.
• Ability to identify regulatory and industry changes and translate them into actionable guidance.
• Knowledge of KPIs, KRIs, and other reportable metrics.

Nice to have

• Fintech or cannabis banking experience.
• Experience building governance infrastructures, managing examinations and audits, and preparing Board-level reports.
• CRCM certification.
