Reimbursement Coordinator - Home Health

Location: Remote, United States; applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Obtain billing information, review charges, modify claim data, and generate clean claims.
• Submit primary and secondary claims within payer filing deadlines and track pending claims.
• Use reports and payer systems or calls to follow up on claim status.
• Research payments, partial payments, overpayments, denials, and appeals, escalating claims unpaid after 60 days.
• Follow up on primary, secondary, and patient-balance collections and prepare documented write-off forms for bad debt.

Requirements

• GED or high school diploma.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Home health billing or reimbursement experience.
• Experience with EPIC EMR.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; employment eligibility will be verified at hire.
• Ability to work additional or irregular hours as needed and use a computer for extended periods.
