Manager I, Engineering - Applied AI/ML Product Analytics Suite

What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of Applied Scientists researching, prototyping, and industrializing AI/ML capabilities.
• Define the technical vision and roadmap for agentic and proactive capabilities, including event understanding, conversational analytics, automated insight reporting, and session-replay issue detection.
• Provide hands-on technical contribution and review support as research prototypes become production-grade capabilities.
• Shape AI capability delivery across the suite in partnership with product and engineering leadership.
• Hire and onboard Applied Scientists and communicate progress and priorities to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience as a technical leader with a background in applied AI/ML and ideally hands-on research or applied science experience.
• People management experience or a developing management background supported by strong technical credibility.
• Experience taking AI/ML capabilities from research prototypes to production.
• Ability to define direction and structure in greenfield environments with significant ambiguity.
• Experience in analytics, NLP, or user-behavior domains is preferred.
• Ability to explain technical AI/ML concepts to product and engineering stakeholders.
