Maintenance Technician (Smart Lockers)

Location: Hamburg, Germany; on-site field work and travel to various customer sites in Germany required.

What you will do

• Perform on-site mechanical repairs, routine maintenance, and priority repairs for package lockers using a car or van.
• Conduct functional tests, replace components, and perform electronic testing based on technical documentation.
• Route and connect cables, secure low-voltage components, and verify the quality of electrical installations.
• Handle remote software fault reports for lockers in Germany with support from the technical team.
• Provide reactive assistance according to client SLAs, troubleshoot field issues, and recommend improvements.
• Document interventions, prepare accurate post-maintenance reports, and support locker deployment and warehouse activities.

Requirements

• Good English and German language skills.
• Valid German driver's license.
• Proficiency in Excel and data entry.
• Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
• Comfort with hardware and software, plus strong customer service skills when assisting technical and non-technical users.

Nice to have

• Technical vocational training or equivalent experience.
• Electrical certifications.
• Familiarity with startup culture.
