Senior Platform Administrator (MT4/MT5)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; hybrid work model with 2 days working from home

What you will do

• Lead maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization, and incident response for MT4/MT5 trading servers, including on-call and weekend maintenance.
• Diagnose complex production issues and coordinate resolutions with MetaQuotes.
• Test and deploy Windows, server-build, plugin, and application upgrades, including new server installations and integrations.
• Configure hosting machines, disaster-recovery environments, bridges, liquidity-provider systems, White Labels, and MetaQuotes platforms.
• Design platform solutions, lead mid-to-large-scale infrastructure projects, and improve operational automation and efficiency.
• Maintain technical documentation and architectural diagrams while training and mentoring junior and mid-level administrators.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of IT infrastructure experience, including 2 or more years working with trading platforms.
• Advanced MT4/MT5 server administration and expert Windows Server administration skills.
• Strong scripting and automation skills with PowerShell and Python.
• Experience with high-availability, disaster-recovery, networking, VPN, firewall, and routing solutions.
• Experience with bridge and liquidity-provider systems such as PrimeXM and OneZero.
• Eligibility or legal authorization to work in Malaysia is required. Excellent English documentation and communication skills are also required.

Nice to have

• AWS experience with RDS, S3, and VPN tunnels.
• Containerization and Kubernetes experience.
• Monitoring and alerting experience with Grafana, PRTG, or OpenTelemetry.
• Linux administration, project management, or ITIL certification.
