TL;DR
Engineer Field Ops (LAN/WAN and Hardware Support): Providing onsite field operations support, equipment repairs, installations, maintenance, and customer incident resolution at airport and customer premises with an accent on SLA-driven service delivery, network troubleshooting, and hardware configuration. Focus on coordinating onsite interventions, reducing repair cycles, conducting site surveys and acceptance tests, and maintaining accurate service records.
Location: Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam. Hybrid work is available, with work from home up to 2 days per week depending on team needs.

What you will do
- Provide field operations support to internal and external customers in line with customer contracts and SLAs.
- Perform onsite interventions, preventive maintenance, installations, repairs, and troubleshooting for PCs, printers, LAN/WAN equipment, and related services.
- Coordinate incident resolution, scheduling, customer communications, resolver groups, suppliers, and third parties.
- Manage faulty equipment replacement, spare inventory, returns, repair cycles, and local acceptance testing.
- Conduct site surveys for new customer premises and ensure installations follow field operations guidelines and industry best practices.
- Maintain service records, daily operational reports, workshop performance data, and escalation updates.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in onsite support and repairs of PCs, printers, and LAN/WAN equipment.
- Direct experience supporting external customers under SLAs and working at customer locations.
- Degree-level qualification in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent local IT qualification.
- Knowledge of hardware installation and repair, LAN equipment configuration, LAN topology and protocol troubleshooting, operating system and software installation, and WAN troubleshooting.
- CompTIA Network or CompTIA Server+ certification.
- Availability to work in Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam, with onsite field operations responsibilities.
