Go Developer (Backend)

Location: Worldwide; fully remote, office-based, or hybrid work is available.

Salary: €2,375–€3,875 gross per month. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Go backend services, implement new features, and improve existing code.
• Build an end-to-end vehicle branding management platform covering agency coordination, driver verification, compliance, payments, and vehicle classification.
• Research technical solutions and collaborate on technical discussions, task reviews, and code reviews.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code, automated tests, and technical documentation.
• Support backend services throughout delivery, monitoring, and production operations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of commercial backend engineering experience with Go and strong foundational programming knowledge.
• Strong SQL skills, including database schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience with Redis and synchronous and asynchronous inter-service communication using HTTP, gRPC, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Understanding of client-server interaction, microservice architecture, application monitoring, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write unit and integration tests; proficiency with Git, branching, pull requests, and code review workflows.
• English at Intermediate+ level or above; experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or similar cloud infrastructure, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with dashboards, distributed tracing, and Go performance profiling using pprof or trace.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude.
