Go Developer (Fintech)

Tech Duck is an international software development and outsourcing company delivering scalable backend solutions for the insurance and assistance industry.

What you will do

• Build and evolve a real-time cross-selling platform for personalized insurance offers.
• Own backend systems for multiple user-facing applications using gRPC-based microservices.
• Design and maintain REST and gRPC APIs for insurance platforms and third-party services.
• Manage transactional PostgreSQL data, including policies and claims.
• Implement event-driven workflows with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Develop unit and integration tests, monitor services with Grafana and Prometheus, and contribute to code reviews and platform design.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience, including 3+ years with Go.
• Higher education in Computer Science or a related field.
• Extensive experience with AI implementation and configuration.
• Background in fintech or banking and experience with complex integrations.
• Strong knowledge of concurrency, microservice architecture, containerization, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ or Kafka, and REST API design.
• Upper-Intermediate English or above required. Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, and Agile/Scrum is expected.
