About the Role
You will manage assigned technical accounting areas, research and apply relevant accounting guidance, and prepare policies and technical memos. You will ensure accurate, timely financial statements, reconcile accounts, improve controls and processes, and provide documentation for audit and tax work.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in accounting
- Demonstrable experience leading an audit
- Strong grasp of the financial close process
- CPA or similar designation, or progress toward one
Responsibilities
- Manage the accounting cycle for assigned technical accounting areas
- Research and apply GAAP and local accounting guidance to complex transactions
- Draft accounting policies and prepare technical memos for auditors
- Prepare and review annual external financial statements
- Collaborate with local finance teams to record transactions and implement financial processes and internal controls
- Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support audit and tax filing processes
- Monitor accounting and regulatory developments and implement best practices
