TL;DR
Field Service Technician East (Air Compressors): Maintaining, repairing and upgrading air compressor equipment across customer sites with an accent on mechanical installation, fault diagnosis and preventative maintenance. Focus on completing independent onsite repairs, equipment upgrades and customer-focused field service.

Location: Blacktown, NSW, Australia; hybrid field-based role

Salary: From A$47 per hour, plus overtime, on-call allowances and incentives

What you will do

  • Install and assemble mechanical components at customer sites.
  • Diagnose equipment faults and complete onsite repairs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and upgrade air compressor equipment.
  • Independently troubleshoot problems with support from the technical team when needed.
  • Deliver professional, customer-focused field service.

Requirements

  • Trade qualification as a fitter, diesel mechanic, electrician or similar.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach.
  • Effective communication skills, customer-centric mindset and computer literacy.
  • Valid Australian driver’s licence and full working rights in Australia.
  • Availability to participate in an on-call roster.

Nice to have

  • Experience with compressed air systems.
