Quantitative Developer, Python - Trading Teams EMEA

Location: London, United Kingdom; an opportunity is also available with a team based in Singapore for candidates interested in relocating.

What you will do

• Collaborate closely with on-site quantitative researchers to improve research processes and trading-strategy performance.
• Develop Python tools for quantitative trading strategy research.
• Improve the existing simulation and backtesting framework.
• Monitor and maintain quantitative research jobs.
• Support the global research team with EMEA-related research through multiple communication channels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Python and statistical libraries including NumPy, Pandas, and Polars.
• Demonstrable Python experience in a production environment.
• Experience with workflow management and task scheduling.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced, geographically distributed environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++, Bash or other scripting languages, and financial markets.
