TL;DR
DevOps Team Lead (Kubernetes/Platform Engineering): Building a Kubernetes-native, self-service infrastructure platform for scalable AI products with an accent on architectural modularization, infrastructure as code, and operational reliability. Focus on leading the platform engineering team, implementing observability and SLO monitoring, and enabling secure self-service delivery for internal engineering teams.

What you will do
- Lead the transformation of the existing platform into a Kubernetes-native, self-service infrastructure product.
- Enable cross-functional engineering teams with secure, automated self-service delivery pathways.
- Modularize infrastructure into a decoupled architecture supporting independent service lifecycles and rapid iteration.
- Implement an Everything as Code strategy covering infrastructure, policy, and configuration.
- Establish observability, Service Level Objectives, operational hygiene, and reliability practices targeting 99.9% uptime for core services.
- Build, grow, and provide technical leadership for the Platform Engineering team.
Requirements
- Strong Platform Engineering or DevOps background with deep hands-on Kubernetes production experience.
- Experience leading, mentoring, hiring, and growing engineering teams.
- Strong cloud-native and Kubernetes-native approach, including declarative systems, GitOps, controllers, and abstraction.
- Fluency in Python, Go, and Bash for building tooling and reviewing engineering work.
- Production-scale multi-cloud experience with GKE, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, KCC, Helm, and GitOps delivery using ArgoCD or a similar tool.
Nice to have
- Multi-cloud experience with AWS or Azure.
- Policy as code using OPA/Conftest or Kyverno, plus supply-chain and CI security.
- SLO, error-budget, and DORA-based delivery measurement experience.
- Big Data or MLOps exposure, including Airflow, Dagster, Ray, or Kubeflow.
