HPC Infrastructure Engineer

What you will do

• Design and evolve HPC infrastructure including compute clusters, storage, and networking stack
• Deliver stable, scalable, and production-ready infrastructure platforms
• Improve system throughput, utilization, and reliability
• Build capabilities for resource management, scheduling, and isolation
• Enable containerization and cloud/on-prem hybrid deployments
• Implement system observability including metrics, logging, and health monitoring
• Identify and mitigate scalability limits, integration risks, and system-wide impact early
• Support product teams in onboarding, debugging, and performance tuning

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in San Jose, CA, United States
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python, Go or similar languages
• Experience with HPC or distributed infrastructure including clusters, storage, and networking
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container ecosystem for resource orchestration
• Experience in performance tuning of CPU, memory, IO, and network
• Systems-level debugging and root cause analysis skills
