TL;DR

Salary: $115,000–$175,000 USD annually for NYC; the range may vary for other locations.

What you will do

  • Lead and contribute to research projects supporting R&D and Medical Affairs initiatives.
  • Analyze large-scale real-world clinical and multi-omic molecular datasets.
  • Translate scientific questions from medical science teams and oncology research leaders into actionable insights.
  • Present research insights to external partners and communicate findings to audiences with different levels of technical and genomics expertise.
  • Track advances in real-world study methods, DNA/RNA next-generation sequencing, and oncology guidelines.
  • Contribute to publications and podium activities.

Requirements

  • PhD in a quantitative NGS-related discipline such as Computational Biology or Genetics, with 3+ years of industry or academic experience, or a Computational Biology PhD with strong multi-omic and high-throughput sequencing analysis experience.
  • Strong computational skills in R and SQL, including relevant statistical tools and packages.
  • Experience deriving oncology-specific clinical insights from genomic data and real-world endpoints using time-to-event methodologies in retrospective databases.
  • Strong project management skills and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary scientific teams to define and execute analysis plans.
  • Experience working with genomics and transcriptomics datasets.
  • Role location: New York City, United States.

Nice to have

  • Experience integrating molecular data with real-world evidence and longitudinal clinical outcomes.
  • Experience with AWS, BigQuery, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency in machine learning techniques and understanding of predictive and prognostic algorithms in medical research.
