Software Engineer (GPU Fleet)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid working opportunities are available.

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus.

Quantitative trading firm building high-performance electronic trading infrastructure, market access, data, compute, research, and risk management systems.

What you will do

• Build and maintain tooling for GPU fleet management, monitoring, metrics collection, maintenance, and network configuration.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues across the fleet, from applications and networks through the operating system and kernel.
• Deploy, maintain, and tune GPU hardware and related infrastructure.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve GPU workload efficiency.
• Analyze GPU job statistics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities.

Requirements

• BS or MS in computer science or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience, including Python development and hands-on GPU management.
• Experience deploying, troubleshooting, and tuning a range of GPU hardware.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, software design skills, and systematic debugging abilities.
• Solid knowledge of Linux/UNIX and comfort with open-source software.
• Familiarity with configuration management and monitoring technologies.
