Front End Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Fully remote within the United States or Canada

What you will do

• Structure and design webpages for the company website, client-facing web portal, and internal web applications.
• Build UI enhancements and maintain consistent brand presentation across products.
• Optimize web pages for speed, scalability, and usability.
• Assist backend developers with coding, troubleshooting, and web application integration.
• Contribute to product excellence through technical leadership, mentoring, and independent problem-solving.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in fintech.
• Professional experience with JavaScript and deep proficiency in TypeScript and React.
• Familiarity with backend programming in Go.
• Strong understanding of web and visual design principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, test hypotheses, and solve problems without detailed direction.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with banking-as-a-service, brokerage-as-a-service, or payment-as-a-service businesses.
• Experience with digital assets.
