Nation.better is building an AI-native operating system for UK legal services, combining legal workflows, case management, client portals, AI capabilities, and automation for law firms and compliance teams.

What you will do

• Own the product backlog across user interaction gateways and the AI/platform layer.
• Turn architecture decisions and legal-expert input into PRDs, user stories, and BDD-style acceptance criteria.
• Translate regulatory rules and law-firm workflows into product requirements.
• Run discovery with pilot law firms through interviews, workflow shadowing, and feedback loops.
• Define feature success metrics, track analytics in PostHog and Amplitude, and maintain product documentation in Notion.
• Coordinate releases across a distributed engineering team, remove blockers, and close delivery loops.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager in B2B SaaS with shipped products.
• Experience in a complex or regulated domain such as legaltech, fintech, insurtech, govtech, healthtech, or compliance tooling.
• Strong written specifications, including PRDs or user story sets.
• Understanding of technical products, APIs, data models, integrations, and engineering trade-offs.
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-powered features or deep practical engagement with prompts, evaluations, and hallucination risks.
• English at C1/C2 level is required for documentation and communication with UK-based lawyers and clients.

Nice to have

• Experience with legal services, immigration, or the UK market.
• Experience with Notion, Amplitude, BDD, or Gherkin.
• Experience as the first Product Manager or working directly with company leadership.
