What you will do

• Lead, supervise, and guide a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team of engineers.
• Develop mechanical system designs for building projects based on project scopes and client RFPs.
• Design, evaluate, and plan mechanical and plumbing systems across multiple market types.
• Prepare surveys, calculations, equipment selections, specifications, reports, studies, and detailed design documents.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, perform code compliance research and design QA/QC, and provide construction administration services.
• Serve as the primary client contact and support business development, client relations, and project interviews.

Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Drafting.
• 10+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and engineering calculation and performance simulation software.
• Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and design guidelines.
• Ability to prioritize shifting projects and deadlines and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Travel of up to 25% is expected.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
