Cluster Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Automate bare-metal configuration of networking, OS, and application software for large clusters.
• Develop push-button workflows for cluster upgrades, downgrades, and security patching.
• Build orchestration and scheduler systems for resource allocation and job placement.
• Implement robust monitoring, failure detection, and high-availability systems for cluster resources.
• Create user-facing and administrator-facing tools for cluster management and job metrics.

Requirements

• Strong track record in software architecture, system design, and distributed cluster development.
• Deep understanding of the Kubernetes ecosystem, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Proficiency in GoLang, Python, and bash.
• Strong debugging skills within distributed systems.
• Ability to develop comprehensive tests for new features and regression testing.
• Must be based in or able to work from US or Canada offices.
