What you will do

• Build and lead a new machine learning research and advanced development team.
• Organize advanced development topics into a cohesive research agenda.
• Adapt novel algorithms and model architectures to the hirify.global platform.
• Train, tune, and evaluate models to guide production use cases.
• Collaborate with ML teams and co-design next-generation hardware and software architectures.
• Work with customers and academic partners to generate insight and research credibility.

Requirements

• PhD in computer science or a related field.
• Strong understanding of machine learning theory in areas such as post-training, reinforcement learning, dataset optimization, LLM pretraining, sparsity, or generative AI.
• Experience engineering machine learning systems for large-scale or production deployment.
• Experience leading researchers or engineers.
• Experience with large language models, distributed training, or training-speed optimization is valuable.
• Ability to analytically model or optimize system performance.

Nice to have

• Patents or publications in top-tier conferences or journals.
• Experience with model architecture transformations for target hardware or low-level kernel development such as Triton.
