What you will do

• Provision new environments and upgrade infrastructure components across AWS and GCP.
• Develop deployment automation scripts for onboarding new regions and automate repetitive operational tasks.
• Improve build and release efficiency, CI/CD pipelines, and quality gates using Jenkins and GitHub.
• Manage Pega Cloud deployment, migration, and implementation projects, including scope, deliverables, resources, schedules, risks, and KPIs.
• Coordinate with project sponsors, customers, engineering teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver releases and projects.
• Create, review, and maintain operational runbooks and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on operational experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Java applications and Apache Tomcat.
• 2+ years of operational experience with AWS and/or GCP.
• 5+ years of executing technical projects involving dependencies, stakeholder alignment, resource management, operational readiness, and cross-team delivery.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub, scripting with Python and Lambda, and configuration management with Ansible.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and platform administration, including upgrades, installation, backup and recovery, monitoring, and observability.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent; strong communication, teamwork, client-facing, and conflict-management skills.

Nice to have

• AWS or GCP certification.
• Pega experience.
• Understanding of ITIL processes, including incident, change, problem, and service request management.
