What you will do

  • Lead the end-to-end deployment, configuration, testing, and operation of autonomous systems in customer environments.
  • Troubleshoot software, hardware, networking, and systems-integration issues to maintain uptime and mission success.
  • Gather and analyze field feedback, implement monitoring and diagnostic tools, and drive reliability improvements with product and engineering teams.
  • Train and support customer operators, translate technical concepts into actionable workflows, and accelerate system adoption.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and AI research groups to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Help develop scalable deployment practices and playbooks for future rollouts.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–3 years of software engineering or systems-integration experience in field robotics.
  • Experience deploying complex technical systems in field environments.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, Git, and ROS.
  • Familiarity with Linux-based systems, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across software, hardware, and networking layers.

Nice to have

  • Experience operating or maintaining mission-critical systems in real-world environments.
  • Experience with Jira, Wrike, Confluence, or similar program management tools.
  • Experience working directly with customers in high-stakes, fast-paced settings.
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site with customers as needed.
