Field Application Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Singapore, office-based; frequent travel to project sites required

What you will do

• Deploy and operate robotic systems, including drones, quadrupeds, and humanoid robots, in field environments.
• Support system testing, data collection, and remote operations.
• Assist with client presentations and demonstrations.
• Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Document technical issues, test results, and client feedback.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and collaborate on improving system performance and usability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently across different locations.
• An up-to-date passport is preferred and may be required for travel and site access.
• Ability to work effectively in team-based environments.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with robotics hardware such as drones, quadrupeds, humanoids, or similar systems.
• Familiarity with basic electronics, sensors, and robotic subsystems.
• Basic coding or scripting skills in Python, C++, or a similar language.
• Experience in field testing, remote operations, or client-facing technical roles.
