What you will do
- Establish and maintain the enterprise security architecture framework, principles, and reference designs.
- Review architectures and assess risks for high-impact projects, creating practical mitigation plans.
- Design secure cloud, hybrid, and on-premises solutions covering identity, network segmentation, data protection, and application security.
- Define security controls for e-commerce, point-of-sale, and supply chain systems and embed them into delivery lifecycles.
- Assess third-party security posture, lead security requirements during procurement, and manage secure vendor integrations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring, participate in incident response, and improve architecture through post-incident reviews.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in enterprise security architecture and secure design across multi-domain enterprise environments.
- Deep knowledge of public and hybrid cloud security, identity and access management, network security, encryption, and secure software design.
- Experience assessing vendor and third-party risk and defining security requirements for commercial integrations.
- Ability to produce architecture artefacts, threat models, trade-off analyses, and executive-level briefings.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence senior business and technical leaders.
- Retail, distribution, point-of-sale, or e-commerce experience is preferred.
Nice to have
- CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, or cloud provider security certifications.
- Experience protecting transactional platforms, leading cloud migrations, or managing vendor-integrated solutions.
