Senior QA Engineer (Backend) (Fintech)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain automated tests for fintech trading platforms.
• Increase automation coverage to reduce manual testing and accelerate defect detection.
• Perform backend, end-to-end, and integration testing across internal and third-party applications.
• Validate data and frontend-to-backend consistency.
• Debug, document, and track issues while collaborating with developers on resolution.
• Improve testing methodologies and mentor QA engineers across experience levels.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance test automation.
• Solid knowledge of test theory and its practical application.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Git.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• English communication skills required, both written and verbal.

Nice to have

• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Familiarity with trading or investing.
• Knowledge of SQL, Solace, Kafka, Protobuf, gRPC, REST, Postman, or Insomnia.
• Experience with log analysis tools such as Graylog or Kibana.
• University degree in Computer Science or another IT-related field.
