Senior QA Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior QA Engineer (Fintech): Designing and executing manual tests for Open Banking payment products with an accent on API validation, complex integrations, and financial transaction flows. Focus on investigating production issues, analyzing logs and alerts, covering edge cases, and validating antifraud behavior across web and mobile applications.

Location: Fully remote, with the option to work from home, company offices, or while traveling. Hubs are available in Cyprus, Riga, Vilnius, and Warsaw.

What you will do

• Design and execute functional, integration, regression, UI, and end-to-end test cases.
• Perform manual API testing with Postman and validate complex payment flows and integrations.
• Test web and mobile applications using browser DevTools and proxy tools.
• Identify, document, and communicate defects with clear reports and usability feedback.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders on testing strategy and release processes.
• Investigate production issues using logs, monitoring tools, alerts, and system metrics.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in manual QA at a strong middle or senior level.
• Hands-on experience with API testing, including Postman or similar tools.
• Experience testing web applications, iOS/Android mobile applications, complex integrations, and non-trivial business logic.
• Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases, plus experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Ability to design tests covering edge cases, analyze system behavior, and work with incomplete or ambiguous documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and an ownership mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payment systems, financial transactions, antifraud systems, or risk-related features.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with AI-driven testing tools and agents.
