Product Counsel (Web3)

Location: Asia; full-time onsite or remote

What you will do

• Serve as the key Legal contact for supported product lines and coordinate with Commercial, Corporate, Regulatory, Data Privacy, Litigation, Compliance, Risk, Marketing, Tax, and other teams.
• Advise throughout the product lifecycle, from design and launch through ongoing operations, identifying and mitigating legal risks.
• Advise on product compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including licensing, approvals, product restrictions, AML/CFT requirements, and digital-asset regulations.
• Draft, amend, and negotiate product terms, commercial contracts, templates, marketing materials, announcements, and social media campaigns.
• Support complaints, disputes, licensing initiatives, internal projects, and external counsel management.
• Deliver legal training and internal guidance while monitoring regulatory and market developments.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in a law firm, financial services firm, or fast-paced technology company.
• Experience advising on digital assets and/or financial products at a fintech company or financial institution is preferred.
• Knowledge of product-related privacy, data protection, intellectual property, technology transactions, or litigation is advantageous.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders commercially, manage multiple priorities, and handle complex projects independently.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and regulatory and compliance stakeholders across jurisdictions.
• Strong communication skills, business acumen, teamwork, and interest in crypto and digital-asset markets.
