Senior Security Engineer, Red Team

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $159,800–$235,000 USD per year, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Plan and execute threat intelligence-informed adversary simulations and full-scope Red Team operations.
• Assess critical assets, products, AI systems, payment infrastructure, autonomous delivery hardware, and emerging technologies.
• Build custom tools, exploits, malware, payloads, and scalable infrastructure for Red Team engagements.
• Conduct cyber, insider threat, and fraud testing scenarios, including defense evasion against security tooling.
• Partner with Blue Teams and cross-functional stakeholders to improve detection, response, and defensive strategies.
• Advise leadership on emerging threats and contribute to security strategy for a complex logistics platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Red Teaming and Purple Teaming experience.
• Deep practical knowledge of APT and insider-threat tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Experience running full-scope operations across multi-platform and cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of at least one of Python, Golang, Rust, Kotlin, Java, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Command and Control frameworks, exploit development, phishing environments, and defense evasion.
• Strong understanding of information security frameworks and standards, including MITRE ATT&CK, plus technical leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
