Senior Security Engineer, Red Team (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $159,800–$235,000 USD annually, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Plan and execute threat intelligence-informed adversary simulations to assess security posture, detection, and response capabilities.
• Hunt for vulnerabilities across AI systems, payment infrastructure, autonomous delivery hardware, and emerging technologies.
• Conduct cyber, insider threat, and fraud Red Team testing scenarios.
• Build custom tools, exploits, malware, and payloads for hirify.global’s evolving technology stack.
• Partner with Blue Teams to escalate threats and develop proactive detection and defensive strategies.
• Advise leadership on emerging threats and contribute to security strategy for a complex logistics platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Red Teaming and Purple Teaming experience.
• Deep practical knowledge of APT and insider-threat tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Experience running full-scope operations across multiple platforms and cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of at least one of Python, Golang, Rust, Kotlin, Java, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Command and Control frameworks, defense evasion, exploits, phishing environments, and scalable Red Team infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of information security frameworks and standards, including MITRE ATT&CK, plus technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
