Cyber Security Engineer (Vulnerability Management)

Location: Huntingwood, NSW, Australia. Hybrid working arrangement with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home per week.

What you will do

• Plan and execute internal penetration testing across infrastructure, web applications, APIs, and cloud environments.
• Lead enterprise vulnerability assessments, analyze findings, and provide remediation guidance and risk context.
• Architect, operate, and improve the enterprise vulnerability management platform and scanning infrastructure.
• Design automation strategies and develop security tooling, scripts, and platform integrations.
• Evaluate and operationalize AI-driven tools for vulnerability detection, risk prioritization, and security assessments.
• Participate in global Cyber Security Team calls, which may take place during local evening hours.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of cybersecurity experience with hands-on vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security automation.
• Strong offensive security skills across web, API, and infrastructure environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and JavaScript scripting, plus experience integrating security platforms through APIs.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud security and AI-driven vulnerability tools.

• OSCP, CEH, GPEN, or GWAPT certification.
