Business Analyst (FX & CFDs Markets, Prop Trading)

Location: Onsite in Limassol, Cyprus. Relocation support may include visa and work permit arrangements.

What you will do

• Run stakeholder discovery and produce business and functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps for trading platforms and liquidity solutions.
• Define requirements for liquidity, order routing, order lifecycles, monitoring dashboards, and settings interfaces.
• Maintain the requirements backlog and traceability across epics, stories, and test cases, supporting UAT and sign-off.
• Design KPIs and throughput metrics for fraud detection, execution quality, compliance, and other trading features.
• Perform gap analysis, clarify edge cases, validate frontend deliverables, and create UI/UX requirements with wireframes and interaction flows.
• Participate in end-to-end testing and train the Support team.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with trading technologies such as cTrader, PrimeXM, oneZero, MT4/MT5, and FIX 4.4/5.0.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software, fintech, or trading, with a record of producing precise specifications and delivering initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of FX/CFD trading, including pricing models, order lifecycles, leverage, liquidity bridges, mark-out reports, fraud detection, toxic flow detection, and client flow segmentation.
• Experience with trading, dealing, back-office, regulatory, and audit reports, including reconciliation principles.
• Knowledge of ESMA, CySEC, FCA, and GDPR requirements; strong MS Excel skills including Pivot Tables and Power Pivot.
• Russian required; English at B2+ required.

Nice to have

• Degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, finance, physics, business management, or computer science.
• Experience with surveillance statistics, hypothesis testing, anomaly detection, or Bayesian reasoning.
• Figma experience and exposure to prop-trading conditions, reporting, and antifraud methods.
• SQL, basic Python, and familiarity with REST or FIX APIs.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate analysis and documentation.
