Software Engineer in Test (QA Automation)

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and expand automated test suites for Windows and macOS desktop applications using Python, Selenium, Appium, and FlaUI WebDriver.
• Run and triage end-to-end and regression tests across Windows, macOS, and Linux, investigate failures, and fix flaky tests.
• Maintain test infrastructure based on Vagrant/Packer-managed virtual machines and Docker test agents.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines in Atlassian Bamboo, Bitbucket, and GitHub Actions.
• Write API and integration tests and translate manual test scenarios into automated coverage.
• Collaborate with desktop application developers to identify edge cases and improve testability during development.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in software testing or QA engineering; junior candidates are welcome.
• Proficiency in Python for automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Appium for UI test automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and automated build and test pipelines.
• Basic scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Bash.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to write clear, maintainable test code.

Nice to have

• Experience with FlaUI WebDriver or other Windows desktop UI automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Go, API or integration testing, Docker, Vagrant, or Packer.
• Knowledge of performance or security testing concepts.
