TL;DR
AI Integration Engineer (AI and automation): Building internal integrations, automation workflows, and AI tools that connect business systems and improve operational effectiveness, with an accent on APIs, orchestration, data foundations, and reliable LLM applications. Focus on designing maintainable integrations, implementing RAG and agent workflows, controlling AI costs, and turning prototypes into dependable internal tools.
Location: Oslo, Norway, with a hybrid schedule and up to 2 remote workdays per week. Candidates must already be in Norway or be able to relocate without requiring additional work-permit support, such as EU/EEA citizens.
Company
is a 65-person EdTech scale-up developing the AV1 robot, which supports educational continuity and social belonging for children unable to attend school in person.
What you will do
- Connect Data, IAM, CRM, ERP, and Finance systems through APIs, webhooks, and events.
- Build and maintain automation workflows using Windmill, n8n, and custom solutions.
- Develop internal AI capabilities including assistants, retrieval, summarisation, classification, routing, tool calling, and evaluation systems.
- Centralise and reconcile business data while creating trusted internal tools and lightweight applications.
- Define integration and AI engineering standards, manage automation platforms, and track AI spend and return on investment.
- Work directly with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations to deliver fast iterations and measurable business impact.
Requirements
- Experience translating ambiguous requests from non-technical stakeholders into concrete systems.
- Hands-on experience integrating ERP, CRM, or Finance systems using APIs, webhooks, REST, OAuth, and SSO.
- Experience with Windmill, Temporal, Airflow, n8n, or a similar code-first orchestration platform.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or Go, with the ability to bring prototypes to engineering standard.
- Practical experience with LLMs and agents, including context engineering, RAG, evaluation, and function calling.
- Must be based in Norway or able to relocate without requiring additional work-permit support.
Nice to have
- Experience with Odoo v18 or later, product companies, or scale-ups.
- Exposure to classical machine learning.
- Experience with self-hosted tooling, containers, secrets, backups, and upgrades.
