People Advisor (FinTech)

Location: Hybrid setup in Utrecht, Netherlands

What you will do

• Advise and coach line managers on performance cycles, team dynamics, and complex employee relations cases.
• Identify HR workflow bottlenecks and build scalable, practical solutions.
• Lead initiatives covering career frameworks, onboarding, compensation and benefits, and learning and development.
• Manage employee relations, policy guidance, absence management, and wellbeing initiatives.
• Partner with the CHRO and teams across commercial, technical, and operational departments.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of HR experience in a fast-growing SaaS or technology scale-up.
• Experience with HR administration, policies, and employee relations.
• Solid knowledge of Dutch labor law and employment regulations.
• Understanding of compensation and benefits structures and experience with HRIS platforms, including basic data extraction and metrics reporting.
• Pragmatic, proactive, empathetic, and comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
